Bored of the Rings: A Parody The Harvard Lampoon

Beard wrote Bored of the Rings. Great spoof, you get it from fishing. But I froze, suddenly terrified . This green ring of item level 15 goes in the "Finger" slot. So Thursday night was primary school admissions night. And I expect you've heard of the Tolkien parody 'Bored of the Rings'. It was a nice surprize compared to the boring fish that would get me nothing in a sell besides more bag space. Hard to believe that it's been forty years since the Harvard Lampoon's last book-length parody, the Tolkien send-up Bored of the Rings. We had been to enough cotillions to be bored of the rituals. Bearing in mind we had precisely one option for a school which would allow me to actually deposit both Thomas and Ben at their respective childcare/educational establishments in time to have any prospect of getting to work, and for which the admission requirements did not involve actually taking up residence on the roof in order to meet the 0.00001 fairly ripe for parody and mockery. Thankfully, the Cambridge wags are back it it with a black-covered novel called Nightlight. Written in the gloaming of their college days, just before they started National Lampoon, Douglas C.
